HOW DOES THE DERMALUX FLEXMD RENTAL PROGRAMME WORK?
To arrange rental of one of our Dermalux FlexMD devices please book an initial consultation via our online booking system or by calling our reception team.
Prior to your appointment, a Dermalux consultation form will be emailed out to you, along with a rental agreement contact, which will need to be completed and returned to us.
During your consultation your Dermalux practitioner will advise you of your recommended treatment plan. After your consultation, your sanitised and prepared Dermalux FlexMD device will be ready for you to take away, it must then be returned on the date agreed in the hire agreement.
The device can safely used once per day. Prices and rental durations are as follows:
24 hours – £30.00
48 hours – £50.00
One week – £160.00
One month – £300.00
CONTRAINDICATIONS
LED is safe, non-thermal, nontoxic and non-invasive, and to date no side effects have been reported in published literature. In the 20 years that LED has been used in the medical and beauty industry, there have been no reported incidents of adverse reactions or damage caused by LED therapy.
There are few contraindications to LED phototherapy but we recommend that clients who present with any of the following conditions SHOULD NOT undergo Dermalux treatment:
• Epilepsy or Seizures triggered by light
• Metabolic disorders such as Porphyria
• Autoimmune disorders such as Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE)
• Photosensitive disorders such as Photosensitve Eczema
• Hypomelanism (Albanism)
• Active Cancers
• Use of Photosensitive Medication
